Second District Community Relations Awards

The fifth and final Community Relations Awards Ceremony honoring Second District police and community members was held at Mt. Carmel Church last week. Those honored were awarded either a Special Commendation Award, a Commander’s Commendation, a Citizens Award Plaque, or a Community Service Award presented by the Cleveland Police Foundation.

A Great Time Had by All at the 10th Annual Children’s Holiday Party

Over 60 volunteers made the event super fun by providing crafts, face painting, games, food, popcorn, photo ops, characters, bouncy houses, a train ride, and a visit with Santa.

A Cloud Over Keeping Resee’s Kids Warm

Sunday, November 13th, 2022, the annual “Keeping Resee’s Kids Warm” event was held at Arbor Park. Long johns, hats, scarfs, socks, and treat bags were passed out to over 100 youngsters. However, it is with great sadness that we must report that Resee passed away the next day after her event.
