Hoops, High-Fives, and Heart at the IX Center

Officers from the Second District and CPOP Unit were out in force at the IX Center during the Special Olympics Unified Sports event at the Dru Joyce Classic—a day filled with teamwork, connection, and community pride.

From parachute games and cornhole to basketball warmups and impromptu shootarounds, officers spent the day supporting athletes, connecting with families, and helping make the event run smoothly. It was all about inclusion, encouragement, and having a great time together.

The Cleveland Police Foundation is proud to support events like this that bring people together—and we thank Special Olympics Ohio for giving us all something to cheer for.
