Police Recruits Embrace Community through ‘Reverse Ride Along’ Event

Reverse Ridealong

Reverse Ridealong

In an innovative approach to community engagement, Cleveland Police recruits nearing graduation recently participated in a ‘Reverse Ride Along.’ This unique event inverted the traditional ride-along concept, enabling recruits to connect with various community organizations across the city, from local businesses to nonprofits.

The ‘Reverse Ride Along’ offered an invaluable platform for recruits to engage directly with community leaders and members. It was a time for listening, learning, and discussing ways to strengthen partnerships between the police force and the community it is dedicated to serving.
