Officers Visit East Clark Elementary for Career Day

Cleveland police officers interact with elementary students in a school gym during Career Day, demonstrating equipment, answering questions, and joining students for push-ups and games.

On March 14, Officers Reyes, Sauto, and Melendez visited East Clark Elementary to participate in the school’s Career Day event.

Through the Cops for Kids program—and with support from the Bureau of Community Relations and the Hispanic Police Officers Association—the officers spent time with students, discussing what it’s like to work in law enforcement and sharing the importance of community, safety, and public service.

The visit helped inspire young students while building trust and positive connections with Cleveland’s youth.

Thank you to East Clark Elementary for the warm welcome!
