Officers Distribute Donated Book Bags to Local Schools After Storm-Canceled Event

n

Officer Chris Lozinak and Michael McDonald from the City of Cleveland distributed about a hundred book bags to Clark School, International Newcomers Academy and Paul L. Dunbar Elementary School. They were very appreciative, as many kids still didn’t have any, and some lose them along the way through the school year.

The book bags were donated by First Interstate Properties (owner of Steelyard Commons), originally to be given away at National Night Out Against Crime, but that massive storm of August 6th resulted in the cancellation of the event. The balance of the book bags were distributed at the Second District Safety Fair.
