Simply amazing amount of work – impossible to track it all! Here are photos from a handful of the many different events local Police Officers were involved in in over just a once month period.
- Candace and her 7 yr old son, Jason, are ready to welcome son Ryan into the family! Cops N Cribs was able to supply a new crib for the newborn!! The Cleveland Police Foundation and Cops for Kids purchase the cribs and deliver them to families in need based on referrals from Cleveland police officers!!
- Community Policing got out of the office and spent some time with the seniors at the League Park Senior Walk!! 30 minutes of exercise a day makes Cleveland a healthier city!!
- Cleveland Police officers from Community Policing and our Bike Patrol had the opportunity to participate in the Kids in Flight’s Wings of Wonder at Burke Lakefront Airport!! This is a wonderful event giving kids sight seeing flight tours around Cleveland.
- Cleveland Police officers from Community Policing spent some time at the Cleveland Metropark’s Washington Park First Tee learning how to golf.
- Cleveland Police officers from Community Policing, 5th District, and the N.I.C.E Unit teamed up with Spectrum for Community Impact Day to spruce up 4 homes located in the Hough neighborhood!! These officers and community members define “community policing!
- Cleveland Police from the Community Policing Unit spent the day at Providence House’s Family Day and had a great time with the kids, families, and staff! They fortunately had the perfect Sunday weather to get dunked!
- The Cleveland Police Foundation and Cops for Kids were sponsors of the 2019 Bushido Warrior Tae Kwan Do Tournament held at Merrick House!! It was great to see these kids compete and see the fruits of their hard work!
