The men and women of the Cleveland Police Mounted Unit used the holiday season to play host to approximately 20 African refugee children who are part of the #Corner65 initiative.
#Corner65 primarily works with the African refugee youth population in Cleveland. #Corner65 provides a safe space for personal growth, life skills development, and mentorship through activities. Officers at the Mounted Unit gave the youngsters a full tour of the stables and let them meet “face-to-face” with Cleveland’s four-legged guardians.
