The men and women of the Cleveland Division of Police and the Ohio State Patrol came together to honor fallen Cleveland Police Officer David J. Fahey, Jr. and Ohio State Patrol Trooper Kenny Velez in a ceremony dedicating a section of I-90 in their names. Family and friends of these great men joined law enforcement officers from all over Northeast Ohio to pay tribute to these officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and will forever be remembered as heroes. Both officers lost 
their lives on the same stretch of highway just months apart. State Representatives Thomas Patton and Daniel Ramos put forth legislation to make this great event possible. Thanks to them for their work in honoring our officers and to the Ohio Department of Transportation for all of the planning efforts. And a special thank you to the families of both David and Kenny for allowing us to share this special moment.
