On June 21, hundreds of kids and families joined together with Cleveland Patrol Officers and the Cleveland Public Library at the Metroparks Zoo’s Safety Day. They learned important tips while having a great time in the wild and wonderful zoo setting. Safety strategies were taught by the RTA Police, Cuyahoga County Sheriffs, Cleveland EMS, Cleveland Water Department, NASA, and CMSD Police to name a few. Winners of our spin of the wheel at the Cleveland Police Foundation/Cleveland Public Library table received free books, candy, and police safety coloring books!! 
This was a fantastic and fun learning event and we want to thank the Zoo and all supporters for everything they do for our children and our community!!
