There was a fine turnout for the Voices Against Violence event at Tremont’s Lincoln Park.

It was a gorgeous day as the folks from the Tremont neighborhood came together at Lincoln Park for the Voices Against Violence Event. Numerous choir groups were on hand to fill the park with beautiful music, as the 2nd District volunteers served hot dogs, and ice cream. Also present, and speaking were Curtis Sliwa, founder of the Guardian Angels, and Michelle Knight. A big thank for participating goes out to the Cleveland Division of Police, Second District, Community Policing, Mounted Unit, K-9, and Captain Sulzer for coordinating this event. Also thanks to the following sponsors, The Cleveland Police Foundation, Mitchell’s Ice Cream, City of Cleveland, C.P.D. Second District, Guardian Angels, Councilman Joe Cimperman, Tremont West Development, Homeless & Missing Youth Program, and Arcelor Mittal.
