The First District Community Relations Awards Ceremony was recently held at Saint Mary’s Romanian Orthodox auditorium. This event, attended by Mayor Bibb, Chief Drummond, and other city officials, recognized the outstanding contributions of our police officers and several community members.
At the ceremony, the Cleveland Police Foundation awarded Patrol Officer Carlos Robles for his exceptional service to the city. Marcus Gonzalez was also recognized for his community service, providing free haircuts to children in need. Additionally, Gene’s Restaurant received a plaque in recognition of their positive interaction with our officers.
The ceremony was a heartfelt occasion, acknowledging those who consistently go beyond the call of duty. It was a moment of pride and appreciation for both our officers and the community members who play a vital role in supporting the city.
Congratulations to all the awardees for their dedication and efforts in making our community a better place. Your contributions are invaluable.
