A month ago, the Pipes and Drums of the Cleveland Police had the distinguished honor of performing for two World War II veterans. These veterans were on their way to Normandy, courtesy of Delta Airlines.
This memorable event, part of the Honor Flight program, allowed the esteemed musicians from our local police force to pay tribute to the “greatest generation.” The band’s heartfelt performance served as a fitting send-off for the two veterans, reminding us all of the sacrifices they made for our freedom.
The Pipes and Drums of the Cleveland Police, through their music, continue to honor those who serve and have served, reinforcing the mantra to “never forget” the bravery and valor of our service members. Their recent performance for these WWII veterans is another testament to their dedication.
