Simply amazing amount of work – impossible to track it all! Here are photos from a handful of the many different events local Police Officers were involved in in over just a once month period.

- Cleveland Police Community Relations Unit spent some time with the kids at Discovery World. We walked to Kamms Corner’s Ice Cream and talked about bullying, safety, and police work! The cops and kids also had some delicious ice cream bought by Cleveland Cops for Kids and the Cleveland Police Foundation.

- Community Relations spent a few hours at the Cleveland Public Library’s Main Branch interacting with the kids attending Ideastream’s Be My Neighbor event! Our officers handed out gifts and ice cream courtesy of the Cleveland Police Foundation and Cops for Kids.

- PAL Youth Mentoring Summit in Washington D.C. over (400) youngsters and chaperones attended the 3rd annual Youth Mentoring Summit. Youth participated in an in-depth discussion about healthy coping mechanisms, political engagement and how to improve community relations with law enforcement officials. The youth were encouraged to become mentors to younger children and pass on pivotal life lessons, connect with local precincts for programming and conduct local book clubs for sensitive topic discussions. They also had the opportunity to visit the many sights ad sounds of downtown Washington DC.

- Estabrook Recreation Center CLE PAL Boxing Show. (20) youngsters participated in a day of friendly competition as they were cheered on by their family and friends. Several police officers attended the event to interact with all attendees and support the event.

- CLE PAL Football Camp. Over (80) aspiring football players and (25) coaches came together for an intense training football skills camp. The vent was promoted and hosted by Dustin Fox, former pro football player and ESPN commentator.
