This month’s Police Officer of the Month is Patrol Officer Carlos Robles, who has faithfully served the City of Cleveland for over 30 years. He was nominated by Deputy Chief Jarod Schlacht, who shared his thoughts on this remarkable individual.
“Every day, Officer Carlos Robles comes to work with a smile on his face, ready to serve the citizens of Cleveland and provide guidance and mentorship to the next generation of young officers. After 30 years, Officer Robles still comes to work excited to make a difference. His calm, professional demeanor has made him a leader on his shift, a leader in the First District, and a leader for the entire City of Cleveland.
Before I came to the First District and met Officer Robles, I knew who he was. His positive reputation transcended District borders, and he has lived up to and surpassed everything I’ve heard. Thank you, Officer Carlos Robles, for 30 years of service and consistently being the embodiment of the Cleveland Police core values: Professionalism, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence.”
It is because of these core values that the Cleveland Police Foundation is honored to name Patrol Officer Carlos Robles our Police Officer of the Month for July 2024.
