“We The People” features Owens Memorial Park

Cleveland Police Officer Derek Owens died in the line of duty on March 1, 2008 on Parkview Avenue not far from the Fourth District Police Station.

Plans are moving along to turn the site into a park.  Police officers and community volunteers have all contributed their time and, along with local funding the Owens Memorial Park is becoming a reality!

Tune in to the show We The People on Friday May 24 at noon on WKYC and look for the grand opening of the Owens Memorial Park this Fall 2019!
