On Thursday, September 19, the annual Cleveland Division of Police Third District Community Relations Awards Ceremony took place at the Fatima Family Center. A lively crowd gathered to honor both CPD officers and community members who have gone above and beyond in their service.
The Cleveland Police Foundation was proud to present our Community Service Awards to the CPD Downtown Services Unit, community social activist Delores Malbassa, and Rascal House. Channel 19’s Harry Boomer hosted the event, with members of the CPD command staff and city officials in attendance. CPF Board Chair Dick Clough assisted with the presentations, and we were honored to receive a plaque recognizing our dedication to both the CPD and the community.
Following the ceremony, attendees enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Congratulations to all the award recipients for their outstanding commitment, and thank you to everyone who came to support these exceptional individuals.
