Sixth Annual Kids Fish CLE for Free!

Cleveland Police Community Policing teamed up with the Downtown Cleveland Alliance for the Kids Fish CLE for Free/CPD Safety Fair. It was held at Voinovich Bicentennial Park at the East 9th Street Pier of North Coast Harbor on Tuesday July 30!!

Hundreds of kids and their families came out for some fishing, fun, and food!! DCA gave away 150 fishing poles to eager young anglers. Cleveland Police cooked 400 hotdogs, gave out 500 pieces of ice cream, and over 600 beverages! The kids got to interact with their police fishing pals and officers from the Mounted, K-9, SWAT, and Motorcycle Units.

The Cleveland Police Foundation recognized ship captains Vitas Kijauskas and Bill Bratton as our Community Partners of the Month for their hard work and dedication in taking our kids out on the lake to fish!!

Thank you Jessica from Downtown Cleveland Alliance and all her volunteers for helping CPD!

Thank you to Community Policing for connecting with the community we serve!!
