May 2018 Police Officer of the Month: Patrol Officer Sharon Davis, Community Policing Auxiliary Unit

May 2018 POM - Patrol Officer Sharon Davis

Patrol Officer Sharon Davis has led a career of service to the community.  In her many years in Community Policing, she has worked with our Auxiliary Unit, crossing guards, and has helped at hundreds of community events and activities.  Sharon is a certified Rape Aggression and Defense (RAD) instructor and has volunteered many hours to teach women and children self-defense techniques and tactics.  Sharon recently donated the use of her photo booth to the Cleveland Cops for Kids fundraiser, helping make our event more memorable and successful.  Sergeant Tim Higgins of the Community Policing Unit said of Sharon, “Her commitment to women’s safety and her dedication to the personal development of young women in the community is Sharon’s passion!”

It is because of this dedication to her sisters and service to the community that the Cleveland Police Foundation is honored to recognize Officer Sharon Davis as its Police Officer of the Month for May 2018.
