Dearest Lord,
As we share our Thanksgiving meal, surrounded by the love of our families and friends, we look to you with hearts filled with gratitude for all your many blessings.
At times like these, with our minds and hearts open to your grace, we think about how protected we are here in our city. We thank you Lord.
We remember our Cleveland men and women in blue this day for their service. They are there for us always—day and night.
We often take our police officers for granted. These are the same police officers who leave home every day not knowing whether they will return to their families.
Let us pray for all police officers. May they continue to serve you, Lord, as guardians of our great city and stewards of public safety.
We pray for our community and for your help, Lord, in bringing our community closer to our law enforcement community. Together we will make Cleveland a better, safer place for all.
