Destiny Rice’s, 2nd Annual Lemonade Stand Held at St. Rocco’s Hall Benefitting Hank Adkin’s

DSCN1529Saturday, June 27th was a windy, and wet day however it didn’t stop folks from coming out and supporting Destiny Rice’s, 2nd Annual Lemonade Stand held at St. Rocco’s Hall benefitting the Hank Adkin’s Hero Fund. Also once again this year Cleveland City Council President Kevin Kelley, and Community Policing’s own Captain Keith Sulzer competed for the most sales, but a problem arose from this competition. Now we have all heard of Watergate, Deflate-gate, but now we have Lemon-gate as Captain Sulzer’s apparent victory was marred by ghost donations presented via phone to Council President Kelley after Sulzer’s announced victory. So now you may ask who was the winner? Well after much discussion Council President Kelley will receive the golden gavel award at an upcoming Council meeting. However the true winner is the Hank Adkin’s Hero Fund that will benefit from this fine event. Thank you to all that participated in this event and hope to see you all next year, and a very special thank you to Alex Boone, former Ohio State Buckeye and now guard for the San Francisco 49ers for appearing at this event.
