Community Relations Awards Given

On Thursday, October 26, 2017, the community came together at the Cleveland Job Corps, located at East 140th & St Clair for the Fifth District Police Community Relations Awards Ceremony.  Honoring both officers and citizens, the Cleveland Police Foundation presented their Community Service Award to the following individuals:

  • Individual – Dr. Esther Williams (Beulah Baptist Church)
  • Individual – Belinda Bray (Cleveland Job Corps)
  • Business – Dave’s Supermarket

These awards not only recognize excellence in community service, but help boost morale and raise awareness of the mission of the Cleveland Police Foundation…..to strengthen the bonds…..to support…events that foster stronger relationships between citizens and police officers and police charities.

The Cleveland Police Foundation is the official charity for the Cleveland Division of Police and the only organization authorized to solicit charitable contributions on its behalf.

We provide funding for youth and community outreach programs, community policing and engagement initiatives, safety & crime prevention programs, and support the members of the Cleveland Division of Police to help them better perform their duties. Contributions to the CPF are tax deductible under section 501 (c)(3) of the IRS Code.
