On December 12, the Cleveland Police Community Policing Unit teamed up with neighboring police departments to deliver Christmas baskets to 150 families served by The Cleveland Sight Center, 1909 E 101 St. The Cleveland Sight Center has been delivering holiday baskets for 30 years, assisted by Cleveland Police and other departments for 28 of those 30 years. Retired CPD Officer Bob Guttu started this tradition, and Officer Sam Anderson now organizes this event for Cleveland Police.

Thank you Donna Farr, Alicia Howerton, Steven Frohwerk, and Sylvia Snyder from The Cleveland Sight Center. And a big thanks to Lakewood PD, Euclid PD, University Circle PD, University Hospital PD, Cleveland Hts PD, and CMHA PD for participating.
