Community Appreciation Event at Michael Zone Recreation Center

11402710_885128421560280_7280575939427524051_nThe Cleveland Police Foundation and Community Policing pitched in to help the near west side development corporations, 2nd District Community Relations Committee, and Community Relations cook up a couple hundred hot dogs for the kids and families at Zone Rec. This was a community appreciation event. Angel from Angel’s Piraguas randomly joined in and gave away free iced treats. Thanks to the ever present Bob Shores for always being there to help with any event. The smiles tell the story!!

The Cleveland Police Foundation is the official charity for the Cleveland Division of Police and the only organization authorized to solicit charitable contributions on its behalf.

We provide funding for youth and community outreach programs, community policing and engagement initiatives, safety & crime prevention programs, and support the members of the Cleveland Division of Police to help them better perform their duties.
