CLEVELAND SELECTED FOR INAUGURAL LAUNCH OF NEW MOBILE APP FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

Logo-on-Black141Cleveland, OH, February 18, 2015– The Cleveland Police Foundation is proud to announce that we have teamed up with Imprompt2, LLC a mobile app developer, to bring the whaddayawannado app to the Greater Cleveland area. The app is designed to help small businesses attract customers during slow periods through the use of exclusive discounts and rewards.

When the app launches here in Cleveland in the coming weeks, customers will be able to choose from hundreds of daily offers on local goods and services using a smartphone or tablet. Participating merchants will include independent restaurants and bars, clothing stores, auto repair shops, and much, much more. There are currently 18 categories to choose from.

In addition to helping local businesses attract customers, a portion of all revenue generated by the whaddayawannado app in the Greater Cleveland area will be donated to local charities.

“This is a great way for us to create a recurring revenue stream for our charities” says Charles Lane, Executive Director of the Cleveland Police Foundation.

Local merchants can try the app risk free with no upfront costs and no minimum monthly fees, and they can cancel at any time for any reason.

According to Patrick Gostley, Imprompt2’s founder, “This is an excellent opportunity for small business owners to expose their goods and services to thousands of potential customers each day.”

The whaddayawannado app can be downloaded for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets at www.whaddayawannado.today or viewed online at www.imprompt2.com.
