Cleveland Police Take on Cleveland Fire in a Pancake Eating Contest

For the 10th year, Cleveland Police and Cleveland Fire faced off in a pancake eating contest at Steelyard IHOP. This contest coincides with Tuesday’s National Pancake Day. Locally, IHOP raises close to $75,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network and Rainbow’s Babies and Children’s Hospital. Nationally they raise close to $3,000,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network. This year, and for the last nine in a row, those darned firemen beat CPD in a close race. The Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Assc., and the Cleveland Fire Union donated $520 to Rainbows.

Thank you IHOP owner Dan Campbell, CFD, CPD, CPPA, Munch Bishop from WKNR, Steve Loomis, Mike Norman, and University Hospitals. An even bigger thanks to volunteering officers Tony Harper, Mike Stanton, Sgt. Damien Glaser, Sgt. Jon Moran, and Lt. Frank Bolon.10428455_434678206697417_695897342172124284_n
