Awards in the Second District

On Thursday, November 29 the Second District/Community Relations Awards Ceremony was held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. On hand to honor both the officers and citizens was a fine crowd including city dignitaries, fellow officers, and Second District community members.

The recipients of the Cleveland Police Foundation’s Community Service Awards included Patrol Officers Carole Hageman and Carlos Garcia, committee member Christine Dunn, and Councilman Kerry McCormack. Congratulations to them and to the CPF for being awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Second District Community Relations Committee for their outstanding involvement and dedication to the citizens of the Second District.

Upon completion of the awards presentations a delicious meal was provided by the committee. A big thanks goes out to CPF board members Nancy Feighan and Dick Clough for assisting me.

Congratulations to all that were recognized on this very special night!
