A Polar Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics

On Saturday February 29, 2020 the Cleveland Police Polar Plunge team, the Cleveland Policicles, raised $3,300 for Special Olympics-Ohio! The event was held at Edgewater Park.

The Policicles also won the best group costume contest for Sesame Street, and of course took a quick dip in the frozen Lake Erie!! The high temperature that day was only 32 degrees!

In total, this year’s plunge donated over $80,000 to our special athletes!!

Great job by all of our participants and all of the polar plungers!!
