Theresa, a grandmother helping to raise her three grandchildren, lost her refrigerator and all her food. She couldn’t afford another one, so she reached out to Ward 16 Councilman Brian Kazy. Councilman Kazy’s Executive Assistant, Linda Litto, sought out the Cleveland Police Foundation and Community Policing for help. After requesting a refrigerator donation on Facebook, the Bureau of Community Policing, with the help of friend Dan Blazy, delivered Theresa a refrigerator. Unfortunately, the fridge that was delivered didn’t work, so help was asked of another friend of the CPD, Eugene Pallas of Lorain Furniture & Appliance. He was able to donate a refrigerator and schedule a speedy delivery. Thank you Councilman Kazy, Linda Litto, Dan Blazy, and Eugene Pallas! Great things can be done with teamwork!
