Following up on last month’s announcement, I attended the Red Cross Blood Drive at Burke Airport hosted by the International Women’s Air & Space Museum.

The event was sponsored by the Cleveland Division of Police Women’s Network, the museum, and the Cleveland Clinic—and I was surprised they accepted some of this old tired blood.

Thanks to Employee Assistance Unit Sgt. Melissa Dawson for inviting me. If you can find time to donate, please do—the Red Cross is always in need of blood.

The Cleveland Police Foundation is the official charity for the Cleveland Division of Police and the only organization authorized to solicit charitable contributions on its behalf.

We provide funding for youth and community outreach programs, community policing and engagement initiatives, safety & crime prevention programs, and support the members of the Cleveland Division of Police to help them better perform their duties.
