Unity Tour Benefit Supports Upcoming Ride to Honor the Fallen

Earlier this week, I attended the Police Unity Tour Benefit held at Mary Queen of Peace Church.

The Unity Tour itself brings hundreds of officers together from across the country to honor those who have died in the line of duty. In May, they will bicycle from New Jersey to Washington, D.C., and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

Recently, C.P.D. Sgt. Tom Ross commented about the Unity Tour, stating, “Sadly, it’s the only memorial in Washington that grows. In 100 years, they will still be adding names to that memorial and it’s not lost on us at all.”

Team Ohio is comprised of 18 members from Blufton PD, Brooklyn Hts. PD, Cleveland Division of Police, Euclid PD, Macedonia PD, Toledo PD, and Xavier University PD.

Make us proud, Team Ohio, and have a safe trip.
