The Fifth District Community Relations Awards Ceremony was held at the St. Martin De Porres High School and all attendees were treated to music provided by the school band upon arrival. This ceremony was held to honor both officers and citizens who have gone beyond the call of duty while performing their individual duties.
In attendance were Mayor Justin Bibb, Safety Director Kerrie Howard, Deputy Chief Sammie Morris and numerous other city officials. Also on hand to assist me with our awards were Cleveland Police Foundation’s Board Chair Dick Clough and Executive Director Rick DeChant as we recognized Patrol Officer Matthew Woznicki, Aja Barrett, Dan Campbell, and the entire Fifth District Patrol Section.
Upon completion of the ceremony an outstanding meal was served. Congratulations to all that received awards, keep up the good work and thank you for your service.
