The Cleveland Police Foundation installed the fifth Little Free Library at Cleveland Metropolitan’s East Clark School on October 26th. Thanks for help from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Home Depot, and the school’s students and staff.
This library was installed in the memory of Little Free Library founder Todd Bol, who recently passed away. Todd had travelled to Cleveland and donated five Little Free Libraries to the Cleveland Police Foundation along with a Little Free Library tricycle to be used for community events. Todd’s revolution for literacy has planted 75,000 Little Free Libraries across the country. East Clark’s staff and kids were very excited to be part of such a positive movement!!
Thank you to Jimmy and Bill from the Carpenter’s Union, the West 117th Street Home Depot, Fifth District’s Lakeisha Harris, Principal Hilliard, Ebony Donley, all the staff and kids at East Clark School. A special thanks to the late Todd Bol for planting the seeds of literacy in Cleveland!!!! Margaret Bernstein
