The 31st Annual Police Memorial Commemoration, hosted by The Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Officers Memorial Society, takes place from May 14-22nd and includes events and ceremonies that honor the lives of 184 officers from Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina and Northern Summit Counties who have given their lives in the line of duty. This Commemoration is extremely important to the surviving families, whose biggest fear is that their fallen heroes will be forgotten. Our motto, "Keeping The Promise to never forget", ensures this will never happen.

This Commemoration is reputed to be one of the finest in North America, and generates between $1.75 and $3 million in revenue to the local economy each year. All are encouraged to come out and show support as a community. Events are open to the public.
