CPD Detective Tracks Down Browns Fan

Second District Detective John Graves recently visited the children at MetroHealth Hospital with Cleveland Cops for Kids. Young Jacob was a patient who told Detective Graves that he was a big Cleveland Browns fan. The detective told Jacob that he would check up on Jacob after he got out. Well, the detective was true to his word. Jacob and his family were thrilled to see Detective Graves at their door with a Browns jersey and other Browns gifts for a delighted Jacob.

Detective Graves (who was CPF Police Officer of the Month for May 2017) exemplifies many Cleveland Patrol officers who go out and spend their own money to bring a smile to a child’s face. The Cleveland Police Foundation is very proud of John and all officers who understand the importance of bridging the gap between the police and the community we serve!!
