CPD Community Policing Random Acts of Kindness

A Cop, a hot dog, a Coke, and a smile, what’s more American than that!!?? On Wednesday, June 3rd, a sunny and beautiful day, Cleveland Police Community Policing officers decided to give away free hot dogs, Cokes, water, and some well needed smiles as part of a random act of kindness. The officers grilled 200 hot dogs and had the pleasure of meeting incredible Clevelanders, and those visiting our great city. We met visitors from Germany, Hungary, New York, California, Florida, New Jersey, and Arizona. The consensus from all who visited? Cleveland is a great place to visit, the people are friendly, and we have the only cops in the world that take the time to greet their visitors with food, drink, and a few stuffed animals for the kids. A big thank you to the Cleveland Police Foundation for sponsoring this random act of kindness.
